Daniel Gaston Maureaux, 17, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 3:11 PM. Visitation will be Sunday, May 9, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Monday, May 10, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Coteau Baptist Church. Religious services will be Monday, May 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Coteau Baptist Church with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park. He is survived by his father, Joseph Alphonse Maureaux, Houma, LA; mother, Lisa Clark Daniels and husband David Daniels, Houma, LA; brother, Joey Wayne Maureaux, Cory Daniels, Hank Maureaux; sister, Amanda Maureaux, Courtney Daniels; grandparents, Wayne Clark and Linda Dosser Clark; stepgrandparents, Buddy and Mary Jo Daniels; nephews, Jacan Pyfrom and Brynn Maureaux and niece, Aubrey Maureaux. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gaston H. Maureaux and Frances Peltier Maureaux. he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a student of Terrebonne High School. He loved music and playing his guitar. He loved his friends and family very much. He had a very sweet gentle spirit and was always happy.
