Marion Victorine Williams Charpentier, 86, a native and resident of Houma, died at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Ann Charpentier May of Houma, and Charlotte Marie Charpentier Barber and husband, Henry, of Houma; five grandchildren, Denice May Melancon and husband, Ben, Dana May, Darrell May II, Bradley Barber and Todd Barber; one great-grandchild, Morgan Melancon; and three sisters, Margaret Rae Murry, Georgia and Emma Claire Pelley, all of South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Joseph Charpentier; her parents, George Williams and Adenise Cenac Williams; one son-in-Law, Darrell H. May; one sister, Rosa Alice Williamson; and one infant Brother, John Raymond Williams.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
