Rita Margaret Bergeron, 82, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Visitation will be Friday, April 30, 2010 from 9:00 to service time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 30, 2010 from 12:00 Mass Time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Jean Ellen LeCompte and husband Allen of Houma LA; Susan Martin and husband Sterling of Houma LA; Angela Bergeron and husband Earl Jr of Chauvin LA; and Lisa Savoie and husband Sterling Sr of Houma LA. sons, George Bergeron Jr and wife Pat of Houma LA and Keith Bergeron and wife Martha of Houma LA; sister, Nettie Roddy and Sidney of Raceland LA; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her spouse,George Paul Bergeron Sr.; parents, Wallace Paul Trahan and Cecile Duplantis Trahan; sisters, Rosemary Picou; brothers,Aubrey Trahan Sr.; and Johnny Trahan Sr.; daughter,Mary Marcel and survived by husband Larry Marcel of Bayou Black LA; and grandson, Bradley Bergeron son of Angela Bergeron and husband Earl Jr. She was a parshioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church She was loving and caring person.
