Evelyn Mary Mouton Dupuis, 92, a native of Alexandria, Louisiana and a resident of Houma, Louisiana died Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 3:45 PM. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at Maria Immaculata Catholic Church A Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Maria Immaculata Catholic Church with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Mouton Cipolla and husband Salvatore Cipolla, Houma, LA, and Renee Milek and husband John Milek, MD, Thibodaux, LA; grandchildren, Amy Cipolla and companion Mark Buntyn, Robert Cipolla and wife Marie Sevin Cipolla, Bryan Cipolla and wife Barbara Billelo Cipolla, Susan Cipolla, Caroline Milek, Mimi Milek, Christopher Milek, Andrew Milek; step grandchildren, Ben Schexnayder and wife Jenna Ocker Schexnayder, Ross Schexnayder, Guy Schexnayder, Catherine Schexnayder; great grandchildren, Kaylie Cipolla, Meghan Boudreaux, Paige Cipolla, William Cipolla; brother, Gerald Mouton and wife Laura Nezat Mouton and their children Gary Mouton and wife Debbie English Mouton and Mike Mouton and wife Jessica Bergeron Mouton and their grandchildren, Danielle Mouton and Cameron Eddy Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Gustave Dupuis; parents, Numa Placid Mouton and Eliasa Lancon Mouton; brother, Leroy Mouton, Sr.and sister, Dorothy Mouton Whatley. She was the owner of Barbara's Youth Shop for 47 years. It began with mostly handmade items that expanded to a specialty store for infant and youth clothing and shoes. The store also provided children with their school uniforms. She was a parishioner of Maria Immaculata Catholic Church. She was a member and past queen of the Krewe of Hyacinthians. She was a benevolant supporter of Louis Infant Center. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Louis Infant Center or masses for the repose of her soul.
