Owen Allen Porchem 41 days, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Monday, April 19, 2010 at 8:30 PM. Visitation will be Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Friday, April 23, 2010 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Services will be Friday, April 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his parents, Allen Joseph Porche, Jr, and Katherine Elfert Porche; sisters, Ashley Kate Porche and Grace Madison Porche; grandparents, Allen Porche, Sr and Cindy Doucet Porche and Sandy Anderson and Charles Elfert, Jr; great gandparents, Charles Elfert, Sr and Melward Doucet and Lena Doucet. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Corinne Marie Robichaux Elfert and cousin, Brent Bergeron. Owen Allen Porche was born March 9, 2010. He was diagnosed with a very rare skin disorder called Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa. After suffering six long weeks in the hospital God saw that little baby Owen had fought all he could fight. On April 19, 2010 God closed little Owen's eyes easing all his pain and called him home. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
