Phillip John Donnes, 59, a native of Metairie, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 8:15 AM. Visitation will be Monday, April 19, 2010 from 9:00am to 12:30PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 19, 2010 at 1:00PM at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kliebert Donnes, Houma, LA; sons, Ryan Phillip Donnes and wife Danielle Gautreaux Donnes of Houma LA; Brad Michael Donnes and wife Ashley Ford Donnes of Houma LA; grandchildren, MacKenzie, Noah and Rowan Donnes; brother, Patrick Donnes. He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Frank Donnes Virgie LeBlanc Donnes He was the General Manager of Radiofone. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, whose life revolved around his family and friends. If you knew him you came to love him.No one was a stranger he touched the lives of everyone e met. He retired after 25 years as General Manager with Radiofone. He enjoyed talking and telling stories with family and friends and also spending time with his best friend Max (the dog).
