Betty Ann Glover Gillespie, 70, a native of Abbeville, LA and a resident of Denham Srpings, LA died Sunday, April 11, 2010. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her sons,Ricky T. Hammonds and wife Myra Malbrough Hammonds of Baton Rouge, LA; and Mark W. Gillespie and wife Donia Farrow Gillespie of Denham Springs, LA; daughters, Kim Hammonds Robichaux and husband Ricky Joseph Robichaux of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Lea Ann Hammonds of Baton Rouge, LA, Hollie Elizabeth Gillespie of Denham Springs, LA, and Ross Winston Gillespie of Denham Springs, LA; brother, Johnny Glover of Bourg, LA and sister, Phala Glover LaCoste of Bayou Blue, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas F. Glover and Idas Baumgardner Glover; husband, Alfred Harvey Gillespie and grandchild, Alison Kay Savoie. She was a retired nurse at Chabert Medical Center. was a past member of the Krewe of Hyacinthians, a past member of the Steel Magnolias, and past member of the Red Hat's Society. She volunteered at the Council on Aging in Denham Springs. She enjoyed line dancing, music and traveling.
