Garnett Bourgeois

Garnett Marie Picou Bourgeois, 71, a native and resident of Houma, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2006. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her father, Marsan Picou of Houma; one daughter, Kimberly Adams and husband, Craig, of Cypress, Texas; two brothers, Ronald Picou of Houma and John Picou of Spring, Texas; two sisters, Kathryn Vicknair of Thibodaux and Linda Charpentier of Houma; and two grandchildren, Leah Galland and Collin Galland. She was preceded in death by her mother, Emily Thibodeaux Picou. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
