Lloyd James Davis, 72, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 10:40 PM. Visitation will be Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 8:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial in St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Henry Davis; daughter, Thelma Mary Davis Dupre and husband Anthony Paul Dupre; son, Emile Joseph Davis ; brothers, John Davis and Thomas Davis; sisters, Elaine Davis Deroche and Lola Davis Duplantis; 2 Grandchildren, Wendy Lynn Naquin Livingston and Tyler Joseph Dupre; 1 Great Grand daughter, Cheyenne Rayne Livingston. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emile Joseph Davis and Mary Ann Brunet Davis; brother, Jerry Davis. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
