Louda Sevin Duplantis, 89, a native and resident of Chauvin, LA died on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 7:25 AM. Services will be at 1:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home for, Monday, March 22, 2010. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Gray, Louisiana. She is survived by her son, Ruben Duplantis and wife Della Duplantis , Chauvin, LA; grandchildren, Daniel Duplantis of Chauvin, LA, Cheryl Abadie and husband Robert of Harvey, LA, Naomi Young and husband Scott of New Orleans, LA; great grandchildren, Robbie Duplantis and wife Cheryl Babin of Dallas, TX; great great grandchildren, Alyssa Duplantis and Sebastian Duplantis of Dallas, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilson "Tone" Duplantis, Jr.; parents, Oville Sevin and Ada Fields Sevin; brothers, Webster Sevin, Chester Sevin, Noland Sevin; sisters, Annie Sevin Rhodes, Olga Sevin Chauvin. She was a retired school bus driver with the Terrebonne Parish School Board for 15 years. She was a member of Little Caillou Baptist Church.
