Betty Bonvillain

Betty Marie Champagne Bonvillain, 81, a native of Bourg, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 5:25 PM. Visitation will be Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Monday, March 15, 2010 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Services will be Monday, March 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Alvin Bonvillain; daughter, Brenda Bonvillain Migues; brother, Vernon Champagne; granddaughters, Dawn Marie Gilcrease and Wendy Yvonne Adams; great grandchildren, Emily, Alex and Grace Gilcrease and Kellie Jo, Kami Rae and Jude Adams. Preceded in death by her parents, Sidney George Champagne, Sr and Amanda Pitre Champagne; son, Troy James Eaton; brothers, Roy, Roland, Gilford, Sidney, Jr and Raymond Champagne; sisters, Aurely Solito and Ethel Sutton. Betty enjoyed bowling, gardening, cooking and baking. She loved traveling and going to casinos. She babysat numerous children over the last thirty years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
