Jerry Thomas Gautreaux, 59, a native of Louisiana and a resident of Houma, LA died Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11:30 PM.
Visitation will be Friday, March 5, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie Callegan Gautreaux, Houma, LA; daughter, Wendy Gautreaux Harlan and husband Conrad Harlan;
sons, Jason Gautreaux and wife Angela Moore Gautreaux, Justin Gautreaux and wife Ashley Mandina Gautreaux; grandchildren, Luke Gautreaux, Audrey Harlan, Andrew Harlan, Ayden Gautreaux, Abigail Bexley, Ethan Bexley, Samantha Delatorre; brothers, Ronald Gautreaux and Donald Gautreaux;
sisters, Norma Bonvillain and Margaret Prosperie.
He is preceded in death by his father, Neaston Gautreaux;
mother, Mary Scott Fayette;
step father, Norman Fayette and
brother, David Gautreaux.
He was the retired Fire Chief for the Bayou Cane Fire Department.
He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
He served in the Army National Guard.
He was a member of the Fire Chief's Association. He was the co-founder of the Team Spirit Leadership Conferences.
