Inez Voisin

Inez Marie Luke Voisin, 81, a native of Grand Caillou, LA and a resident of Dulac, LA died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 4:00 PM. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial in Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Addie Joseph Voisin, Jr. and wife Barbara Fredieu Voisin, Royce James Voisin and wife Brenda Lee Bonvillain Voisin, Jerry Paul Voisin and fiance Judy Bader; daughters, Linda Clair Chatagnier, Mary Janice Voisin, Brenda Ann Voisin Chauvin and husband Al Chauvin and Melody Ann Voisin Billiot and husband Warren Lee Billiot; 27 grandchildren; 39 Great grandchildren and 2 Great Great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Addie Joesph Voisin, Sr.; parents, Sylvester Walton Luke and Eloise LeCompte Luke; daughter, Adeline Marie Voisin; son in law, Glynn Anthony Pellegrin and Jessie Chatagnier, Sr.; grandchildren, Tanya Renee Voisin and Madina Chatagnier; great grandchild, Angel Duplantis; brother, Travis Luke; sisters, Elvira Luke, Cecile Luke and Vivian Luke. She was a retired School Cook for the Terrebonne Parish School. She was a parishioner Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a member of the Post 4752 VFW Ladies Auxillary, Ladies Altar Society, Saint Joseph Altar Society, Knights of Columbus and the Bayou Boullette Carnival Club where she was the first Queen of the club.
