Madonna Gyer

Madonna Fitzgerald Gyer, 88, a native of Enid, Oklahoma and a resident of Houma, Louisiana died February 20, 2010 at 11:20 p.m. Services willbe held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Houma and services will be held at a later date in Enid, Oklahoma with Burial in Covington Cemetery, Covington, Oklahoma. She is survived by her son, Dr. David Gyer and wife Connie of Houma Grandchildren: Jill Newman and husband Sloan, John Gyer and wife Copper, Charles Gyer and Ashley Gyer. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Covington United Methodist Church, 5th and Jefferson, Covington, Oklahoma 73730. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Gyer and her parents, James Fitzgerald and Ethyle Gumm Fitzgerald. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Houma. A member of the Order of the Eastern Star - Ruth Chapter of Enid, Oklahoma.
