Audrey Buquet

Audrey Autin Buquet, 89, a native of Bayou Cane, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 12:20 AM. Services will be held on MOnday, March 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Buquet Gibson; grandchildren, Alan "Andy" Gibson and wife Jennifer, Sheri Murphy-Ledet, Ann Aubin Gibson, Wayne F. Murphy, Eve Gibson Wegler and husband Michael and Audra Murphy Neal and husband Malcolm; 8 Great-grandchildren; brother, J. C. Autin Sisters: Mildred Autin Cleckler and Pearl Autin Miller; sister-in-law, Verna Buquet Judith Buquet Gibson, Houma, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years: A. J. Buquet; parents, Gibson Joseph Autin, Sr. and Felicia Dufrene Autin; daughter, Patricia Buquet Murphy; grandchild, Jack Donald Murphy Brothers: Gibson Autin, Jr; Lloyd Autin, Arnold Autin and Dr. Buford Autin. She was a member of the First Untied Methodist Church of Houma. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She was a past member of First United Methodist Church Choir and of the United Methodist Women. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to First United Methodist music ministry or the Hospitality Committee.
