Helen Olivier

Helen Naquin Olivier, 97, a native of Chacahoula, LA and a resident of Schriever, LA died Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 8:40 AM. Visitation will be Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Janice O. Pontiff and husband Alvin Pontiff of Schriever, LA; sister, Velma Robichaux, of Houma, LA; grandchildren, Melanie Positerry, Kevin Pontiff and Steve Pontiff; great-grandchildren, Katie and Megan Positerry, Kayla Fregin, Amy, Lauren, Mattie, Caroline, Alex and Benjamin Pontiff and great great grandchild, Gavin Fregin. She was preceded in death by, husband, Arnold Olivier; son, Gerald Olivier; parents, Wilfred Naquin and Olympe Levron Naquin and brothers, Kermit, Leslie and Wilmer Naquin. She was affectionately known as “Oldie” by all those who loved her. She was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church.
