Lydia "Toot" Ruth Blanchard Daigle, 91, a native of Bourg, LA and a resident of Gray, LA died Friday, January 8, 2010 at 9:00 AM.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Monday, January 11, 2010 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.
Services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 12:30 PM at
Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Pearlye Daigle Warner and husband Don of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Henry Evans Daigle and wife Frances of San Antonio, TX; John Nelson Daigle and Katherine of Taylor, MS; Maxine Daigle France and husband Doug of Manning, SC; Gladne Daigle Harris and husband David of Water Valley, MS and Opal Jane Daigle of McKinney, TX

She was a member of Calvary Christian Fellowship
She was a member of The Bayou Blue Mother's Club, the Garden Club. She was currently a Sunday school teacher of 4 year olds at Calvary Christian Fellowship Church. She took piano lessons from Michelle Lane and also taught piano until recently.
She was a and worked at the polls for local elections until she was 90 years old.
