Theresa Dubois Authement, 86, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Chauvin, LA died on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 6:40 pm. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2010 from at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 8, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial with St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Dianna Tivet and husband Donald John Tivet, Jr. of Chauvin; sons, Walter "Pat" Authement and wife Barbara of Houma, Jennings Joseph Authement and wife Jean Chauvin, Dale Paul Authement and wife Diane of Chauvin; 11 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by husband, Houston J. Authement; parents, Adam Dubois and Emily Trahan Dubois; brothers, Davis Dubois and Louis Dubois; sisters, Marie Labit Breaux, Marceline Bergeron, Elda Falgout, Aline Duplantis; granddaughter, Jenny Marie Authement. She was a Homemaker. She was a parishinoer of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a member of the American Legion Unit#0380 and the Ladies Auxillary V7H Post 9608.
