Lorene Reedy Gold,88 a native of Limestone County, Texas and a resident of Houma, Louisiana, died December 12, 2009. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial at St. Francis No. 2. She is survived by her sons, William Ray Gold and wife Carol of Houma; Billy Gold and wife Theresa of Cullman, Alabama; and Terry Gold and wife Carolyn of Houma; daughter, Marilyn “Katie” Autin and husband Roy of Houma; 13 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild and 4 Step-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Gold; parents, John Reedy and Nora Nickles Reedy; son, Joe Wayne Gold; 6 Sisters and 2 Brothers. She was Baptist and a member of First Baptist Church of Houma.
