Daisy Sevin Ellender, 67, a native and redsident of Houma, LA died on Sunday, December 6, 2009. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Ellender, Jr.; sons, Ralph Ellender, III and Glenn Ellender and wife Melinda, Jimmie Ellender and wife Susie; daughter, Michele Melancon and husband Brent; brother, Nolan Sevin and wife Gloria; sister, Irene Hoglind, Olivia Porche and husband Junius, Matilda Barbo and husband Bill; grandchildren, Christopher Fonseca, Joseph Ellender, Jennifer Crochet, Tonja Ellender, Katie Romero, Tiffany Ellender, Chelsea Melancon; godchild, Lori Whitney and son Tiger Whitney; great grandchildren, Keith Crochet, Gracie Billiot, Nicholas Ellender. She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen Joseph Sevin, Jr. and Felicia LeBlanc Sevin; brother, Dewey Sevin; sister, Elaine Falcon and husband Andrew Falcon; grandparents, Allen Joseph Sevin, Sr. and Julianne LeBoeuf Sevin and Aurestile LeBlanc and Celeste Pellegrin LeBlanc. She was a Homemaker. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
