Aubrey Giroir

Aubrey McLloyd Giroir, 91, a native and resident of Gibson, LA died Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 8:00 AM until service time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with burial in Bayou Black Cemetery. She is survived by his Wife of 67 years Melba Myers Giroir; sons, Micheal Giroir and wife Paula, Lynn Giroir and wife Diane, and Jerry Giroir and wife Elaine; daughters, Corrine Antill, Theresa Webre and husband Dickie, Valerie Giroir; 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren, 5 Great Great-Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, Estellete Giroir and Corrine Ross Giroir; Great Great Grandson 9 Brothers and 6 sisters. He is Catholic and a parhsioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He served during World War II in the Army.
