Mazie Theriot Domangue, 91,a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA and a resident of Chauvin, LA died Friday, November 27, 2009 at 8:40 PM. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 10:00 AM until service time. St. Joseph Catholic Church Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 11:00AM Mass Time at St. Joseph Catholic Church A Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Bertha Fanguy and husband Warren "Tommy" Fanguy of Chauvin, LA; Lorraine Bergeron of Chauvin. LA; son, Herbert Domangue, Jr., and wife Fay of Chauvin, LA; brothers, Sidney Theriot, Jr., of Chauvin, LA; 14 Grandchildren, 5 Step-Grandchildren and 31 great grand children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Theriot, Sr., and Annie Pellegrin Theriot; first husband, Eddie Lyons, Sr.; second husband, Herbert Domangue Son: Jessie "Bud" Lyons; brothers, Lonny, Emile, Paul and Lloyd Theriot; sisters, Lula Lirette, Ena Pitre, Marie Melancon. She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chauvin, LA. She was a homemaker and loving mother. She died peacefully at her home. She is survived by 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
