Mary Brown Peeples, 78, a native of Jones County, MS and a resident of Gray, LA died Thursday, November 26, 2009. Visitation will be Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 6:000 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Monday, November 30, 2009 from 9:00 a.m.. until service time at First Baptist Church of Houma. Religious Service: Monday, November 30, 2009s will be held at 11:00 a.m.at Baptist Church of Houma with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Raymon M. Peeples, Gray, LA; sons, Lamar Cooley of Houma and Terry Cooley, Sr., of Gray; grandchildren, Tera C. Punch, Lynelle Punch Keith Worden, Terry Cooley, Jr., Katie Chonailt, Talesha Cooley, Devin Punch, Brennan and Justin Warden and Payton James Scott; great-grandchild, Trey Dupre; sisters, Jewel Carbone of Metairie and Hazel Donovan of Lacombe, MS; brothers, Donald Nichalson of Mandeville, LA and Ronnie Nichalson of Covington, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Homor Brown and Mae Easterling Brown; daughter, Stephanie Peeples Foret; grandchild, Thomas Cooley; great-grandchild, Gage Pellegrin; brother, Jimmie Nichalson of Mississippi. She was Baptist and a member of the First Baptist Church of Houma. She was the Owner of Houma Door.
