Mae Ella Marie Carlos, 70 a native of Chauvin, LA and a resident of Houma,LA died Monday, November 9, 2009 at 12:40 PM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 9:00 AM until Service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Jodi Carlos Trahan and Kayla Leigh Carlos both of Houma; brother, Floyd Dupre and wife Carolyn of Bourg; 5 grandchildren, Veronica Vail, Maverick Boudreaux, Raven Boudreaux, Ty Theriot and Meekel Boudreaux and 4 great grandchildren, Wesley, Erin, Jude, and Averyn She is preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Carlos; parents, Clifton Francis Dupre and Mildred Thibodaux Dupre; brothers, Russell Dupre, Clifton Dupre, Jr and Leroy Dupre and sister, Agnes Smith. She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chauvin, LA. She was a wonderful wife and mother, although she didn't birth her children naturally, they were conceived in her heart long before they were born.
