Ella Ruth Sennette Trosclair, 84, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 3:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. snd on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 8:30 until service time at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial in Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Joseph E. Trosclair, Jr., Richard Paul Trosclair; daughter, Mary Ellen Trosclair Renfro; sister, Vergis Mae Sennette Bella; 14 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Trosclair, Sr.; parents, Albert Sennette and Helen Evangelist Sennette; sons, Albert Trosclair, Douglas A. Trosclair; daughters, Betty Marie Slaughter and brothers, Alvin Sennette, Sr. and Douglas Sennette. She was a Homemaker. She was Catholic and a parishioner Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and playing cards. She was always helping others.
