Albon "Bobbay" John Carlos, Sr., 74,a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA and a resident of Chauvin, LA died on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, October 9, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Survived by: Wife of 54 years: Joan Carlos Daughters: Carla Chauvin, Becky Dubois Picou and husband Duane Picou Son: Albon "Al" Carlos, Jr. and wife Tammy Carlos Grandchildren: Kristi and husband Willard "Junior" Thibodeaux, Braia Chauvin, Damion Carlos Step Granchildren: Brandon Soudelier, Suzanne Cunningham Great Grandchild: Joshua Thibodeaux Step Great Grandchildre: Corena Tivet, Nevaeh Cunningham, Jaylee Soudelier Sister: Geraldine "Teetee" and husband Noles Duet Brother: Ferryle and wife Lou Carlos Preceded in death by: Parents: Bartholomew Carlos and Valarie Babin Carlos Grandchild: Louis Dubois, Jr. Great Grandchild: Willard Thibodeaux, III Sister: Gail Authement Half Sisters: Merlyn LeBlanc, Mavis Charpentier Half Brother: Harvey "Son" Pitre Retired from South Terrebonne Levee District and worked for the Late Senator Leonard J. Chabert. Church Affiliation: St. Joseph Catholic Church He was a member in the T-Cailliou Lion's Club of Chauvin, and Ward 7. He enjoyed cooking working with the community.
