Wayne Paul “PA-PA Wayne” Lirette, 68, s nstive of Houma, Louisiana and a resident of Bourg, Louisiana died on Thursday, October 1, 2009. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at St. Ann Catholic Church from 5:00p.m. until 10:00p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church and Wednesday, October 7, 2009 from 9:00a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday,October 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church with burial in St. Ann Catholic Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Pellegrin Lirette of Bourg, LA; son, Michael Paul Lirette and wife Kristine of Bourg, LA; daughters, Melissa Lirette Nugent and husband Clyde of Ventura, CA Mare’i Lirette of Mobile, AL; sister, Judith Marie Lirette of Dallas, TX; and grandchildren, Riley Catherine Lirette; Olivia Mae Nugent; Alexa Rose Nugent and Jake Anthony Cheramie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Paul Lirette and Mae Lucille LeCompte Lirette. He was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. He was a past member of the Bourg Lions Club, a past member of the Knights of Columbus, past member of St. Ann Parish Council and past Fair Chairman for St. Ann Catholic Church.
