Earline Theresa Lirette Samanie, 76, a native of Thibodaux, LA and a resident of Bayou Blue,died Sunday, September 20, 2009. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at St. Louis Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church with burial in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery. She is survived by, daughters, Patricia Samanie and husband Benjamin Bonvillian of Gray, LA Elaine Samanie Caballero and husband Barry Caballero of Houma, LA Debra Samanie LeBoeuf and husband Donald LeBoeuf, Sr., of Schriever, LA; son, Julius Samanie, Jr. of Gray, LA; daughter-in-law, Aimee Grabert Samanie of Houma, LA; sister, Mary Lirette Boudreaux of Thibodaux, LA; grandsons, (5) Joseph Blanchard, Jr., Jacob Blanchard, Donald LeBoeuf, Jr., Barret Samanie and Beau Samanie; granddaughters, Theresa Blanchard Dyson, Dana LeBoeuf Bruce and Katie Samanie; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, husband, Julius Samanie, Sr.; son, Bryan Samanie; daughter-in-law, Connie Breaux Samanie; parents, Harry and Theresa Lirette; brother, Raymond Lirette; sister, Aline Lirette Samanie. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.
