Odessa Hebert Walker, 91, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial at Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her daughter, Rosie Walker Bourgeois and Susan Ann Walker Tatum; son, Moise "Buddy" Walker, Jr.; grandchildren, Christopher Moise Tatum, Krista Lynn Nicole Tatum; great grandchildren, Christopher Moise Tatum, Jr., Elizabeth Odessa Walker Tatum, Kenneth Moise Ward. She is preceded in death by her husband, Moise Walker, Sr.; parents, Frank Joseph Hebert and Bernice Butcher Hebert; daughter, Arlene Walker and brother, Alex Hebert. She was a Homemaker. She was Catholic and a parrishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She was a Eucharistic Minister. She was a good mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed.
