Jeannette Gagneaux

Jeannette Rita Olivier Gagneaux, 89, died February 23, 2017 at 6:50 AM. She was a native of Ellendale and a resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 10 AM until funeral time at Chauvin Funeral Home with a service at 12 PM. Burial will be held in St. Francis #2 Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Emile Joseph Gagneaux; daughter, Karen “Cookie” G. Theriot and husband, Ernest “Ernie” Theriot; sons, Robin Gagneaux and Jerry Gagneaux; grandchildren, Rebecca T. Finger and husband, Dr. Simon Finger, Dr. Aaron Theriot and wife, Brandee Poole Theriot, Drew Gagneaux and Hannah Gagneaux; and 7 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Joseph and Nellie Pauline Naquin Olivier; brothers, Gillis, Gilbert and Clifton Olivier. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She was a longtime member of the St. Joseph Altar Society. She enjoyed cooking for her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
