Thomas Sidney Michel,61, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Wisner, LA, died on Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, July 24, 2009 at Chauvin Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Gray, LA. He is survived by his Wife, Sandra Michel; his son, Matthew Michel and Fiance' Brandy Savage; daughter, Mickey Michel Duhon and Husband Sidney; stepson, Jacob Carmen; step-daughters,Kimberly Stewart and Huusband Aaron Jesica Lynn Carmen; brother, Daniel Michel; sister,Paulette Guion; granddaughter, Meaghan Dumesnil and 6 Step-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Evelyn Breaux Michel. He was the Former Owner of Marsh Equipment Co.
