Louis W. Barrios, 91, a native of Lockport and resident of Houma, died at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2009.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at United Methodist Church of Matthews. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Barrios Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Carter Barrios; two sons, Robert Barrios and John Barrios; three daughters, Kathy Chauvin, Nancy Barrios and Carol Vecchio; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry and James Barrios; and one sister, Katie Crowe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Camille C. Barrios and Anita Barrios; three brothers, Manny, Harry and Mack Barrios; and two sisters, Edna Barrios and Mildred Davis.
He was the general manager of Offshore Food Service, furnishing catering services to offshore rigs in the Gulf and overseas. He was a member of United Methodist Church of Matthews and a lifetime member of the Masons.
