Katherine "Betty" Fleming

Katherine “Betty” Elizabeth Harvey Fleming, 90, died on Tuesday, September 27, 2016.  She was a native of Lafitte and a resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 9 AM until funeral time at St. Anthony Catholic Church will a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM.  Burial will be held in St. Anthony Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter,  Pauline Fleming; sons-in-law,  Joseph E. Boudreaux and Jerry G. Jones; grandchildren,  Jean Robert Boudreaux and wife, Victoria, Joycelyn Boudreaux, Katherine Jones DiStefano and husband, Vinnie, and Jason Jones and wife, Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Cecilia K. Hazard, Josephine K. Hazard, Isabelle R. Hazard, John J. Hazard, V, Ashley E. Boudreaux, Sara L. Boudreaux, Lauren K. Barrios, Tyler F. Barrios, Maria K. Barrios, Jason G. Jones,Jr. , Anna C. Jones and Lane M. Jones. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jules Fleming; daughters, Roberta F. Boudreaux and  Kathleen F. Jones; parents, Joseph Henry Harvey, Sr. and Edna Agnes Roberts Lofton; brothers, Alfred “Fritz”, Joseph, William and Robert Harvey; sisters, Joycelyn Terrio, Edna Duet and Dorothy Berry. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed bird watching, cooking, gardening and going to her camp in Grand Isle, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the  Fleming Family.
