Michael Romano

Michael “Mike” James Romano, 69, died Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 12:32 AM.  He was a native of and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held Wednesday July 27,2016 from 10:00 AM until service time at St. Francis Cathedral.  Mass will be at 11 AM with burial to follow in St. Francis Cemetery II. He is survived by his, Mother, Shirley Pye Romano Guidroz; Brother, Dane William Romano and wife Meryl;  7 Step-Brothers and Step-Sister, Mary Beth Gast; Niece, Dane Romano and nephew, Jason Romano; several cousins including his caregiver Stephen Boudreaux.  He was preceded in death by his, Father, Peter Romano; Step-Father, Gerald Emile Guidroz; Maternal Grand-parents, Mr. & Mrs. William J. Pye and Paternal Grand-Parents, Tony and Della Robichaux Romano The family would like to extend a special thanks to his caregiver and friend Steve Bonvillain.Chauvin Funeral is honored to serve the Romano Family.
