Alice Carlos

Alice May Carlos, 74, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 09:15 AM. She was a native of Raceland, LA and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 9:00am to service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-five years Chester Carlos; Sons Chester Carlos Jr., and Timothy Carlos; Daughters Cindy DuBois and companion Tracy Sprague, and Wendy Carlos; Brother Alvin Vedros and wife Connie; Sister Louis Foret and husband Allan; Sister in Law Beulla Vedros; Grandchildren Robin DuBois Billiot and husband Charles Billiot Jr., Rhonda DuBois, and husband Reed, Jimmy DeRoche, Brenda Ledet, Lloyd Ledet, Jr. and Vaneffa Pledger; great-grandchildren, Cameron Ledet, Lila Ledet, Mason Ledet and Bethany Billiot.  She was preceded in death by her Parents Sylevester Vedros and Evelina Pierce Vedros; Brother Randson Vedros; Sisters Nelma Naquin and Doris Vedros. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She enjoyed working in her flower bed. She also enjoyed fishing with her family, cooking; which everybody loved her famous rice dressing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Carlos family.
