Hazel Blanchard

Hazel Marie LeBouef Blanchard, 86, a native of Bourg and a resident of Houma, died May 6, 2009. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and Saturday, May 9, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Alvin Blanchard; son, Melvin "Mel" Blanchard and wife Donna, and Alvin Blanchard and friend Karen; daughter, Anna Dupre and brother, Werlin LeBouef ; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. 2. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Albert and Victoria Duplantis LeBouef; son-in-law, Nolan Dupre; sister, Doris LeBouef Neil; brothers, Melvin LeBouef, Alvin LeBouef, and Magnus LeBouef. She was Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was an Honorary Member of the United Veterans League.
