Lucius Belanger

Lucius Pierre Belanger, 97 a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma died May 5, 2009 at 7:35 p.m. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at the church with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by,daughters, Evelyn DeLaBretonne and husband John of Houma and Haydie Foret and husband Elray of Houma; Son, Lucius "Pat" Belanger of Destrehan;7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Haydie Marie Hebert Belanger; daughter-in-law, Linda Belanger; two infant grandchildren; parents, Amon Numa and Celina Lapeyrouse Belanger; sisters, Louise B. Landry; brothers, Hubert "Skipper" Belanger. He was Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was the owner of LPB Towing Co.
