Kathleen Athalie Marquette, 70, died Monday, March 14, 2016 at 07:30 AM.  She was a native of New York City, NY and resident of Houma, LA.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 9:00 AM until funeral time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 She is survived by her son, Theodore J. Broomes and wife, Vanessa Rich Broomes; daughters, Cynthia Broomes Bean and husband, John Bean Sr., and Coleen M Willis; brother, David Marquette and wife, Bonnie; grandchildren, Tonya Johnson, Tatiana Broomes, Steven Johnson, Michael Sizemore, Emma Willis and Michael Willis; niece, Alexandra Claire Marquette; nephew, Robert Edmond Marquette. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond Richard Theodore Marquette and Elvira Athalie Brassard Marquette; cousin, MaryLou Boudreaux. She enjoyed Reading, swimming, playing violin, exercising, politics, taking cruises and Master of Sarcasm.
