Lauren Gros

Lauren Eizabeth Gros, 1, a native of Raceland and a resident of Houma died April 11, 2009. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home. Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with David Jenkins officiating. She is survived by her parents, Gary Gros and Tierany Plaisance Gros; Grandparents, Gary and Cynthia Gros and Wayne Plaisance; Great-Grandmother, Geraldine Gros; Aunts, Camee Poirrier and husband Jerry; Malinda Riley and husband, Michael and Lydia Gros; cousin and best friend, Seth Poirrier. She is preceded in death by her Great-Grandparents, Nelson and Ouida Lirette; and Wilbert Gros; Great-Uncle, Charles "Buddy" Lirette. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. She loved to dance and she loved music. She will be missed dearly.
