Joyce Pertuit

Joyce Victoria Pertuit, 89, died Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 12:35 PM.  She was a native of and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday October 2, 2015 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 5 PM until 9 PM and Saturday October 3,2015 at Holy Rosary Church from 8 AM until Service time. Mass wil be at 10 AM with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Mausoleum.  She is survived by her,  son, Earl & wife Margaret (SUE) Pertuit, Donald & companion Earline Pertuit,  daughters, Linda Boudwin, Yvonne Duplantis, Christine & husband Alan Hartman, amd Marion & husband Robert Schouest, sisters, Rita Songe, Dorothy Mason and Enola (Eula) Arcement , 9 grandchildren. 16 great-grandchildren,  and 7 great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Charleston Edmond Pertuit, son,  Larry Pertuit, brothers, Wilment, Wilson and Myrus Lapeyrouse, sister, Pearl Landry, sons-in-laws, Larry Boudwin and Deacon Connely Duplantis. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.   Loved raising chickens, making ceramics and baking.
