Eddie Matherne

Eddie C. Matherne, 60, died Sunday, September 13, 2015. He was a native of Franklin, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 8:00am to 10:30am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00am at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, Mother: Delores Boudreaux, Sons: Todd Matherne, Tyler Matherne and fiance'e Dalena Pierce, Taylor Matherne, Daughter: Sandy Matherne Olivier and husband Andre', Brother: Irvin Williams and wife Emelda, Grandchildren: Abigail, Annabelle, and Parker Matherne. He was preceded in death by his, Father: Landry J. Matherne. Eddie spent many years self-employed as an oilfield consultant. He was a man of many talents. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and laying out by the pool. He had a big sense of humor and loved playing pranks on everyone. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he'd give his all to them. They would like to thank him for all the wonderful memories he left them with.
