Wilbert Junnius Carlos, Sr, 68, died Monday, September 21, 2015 at 05:38 PM. He was a native and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 9:00 AM until funeral time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Verna Eva Henry Carlos; son, Wilbert "Will" Junnius Carlos, Jr. and wife, Joell; daughters, Mona L. Premeaux and husband, James Jr., Shawn E. Billiot and husband, Donald, and Holly Ann Trahan; brothers, Clarence "C.J." Carlos, Jr. and wife, Muriel, and Chester Carlos, Sr. and wife, Alice; sister, Jane Adams; grandchildren, Sierra Billiot, Brett Bergeron, Devan Chauvin, Dexter Billiot, Dominique Billiot, Colby Chauvin, Kristi Carlos, Kristian Carlos, Landon Trahan and Emma Trahan. 4 godchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Sr. and Emma Authement Carlos; grandson, Brad Bergeron; brother, J.D. Ordoyne; sisters, Clara Babin and husband, Leeroy Sr., and Stella Lirette and husband, Edgar "Jay". He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a devoted Saints Fan. He enjoyed playing bingo with his council family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all for his witty character and silly jokes.
