Vivian Cook Hebert, 89, died Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 07:41 PM. She was a native of Kilbourne, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 9:00am to service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 10:30am at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her sons, Michael C. Hebert and wife Linette, Barry J. Hebert and wife Danette, brother, John David Cook, Jr. and wife Peggy, sister, Mary Fallis and husband Tom, grandchildren, Sarah Ponville and husband Robert, Ross Hebert and wife Angela, Celeste Lirette and husband Trey, Andre' Trahan and husband Ryan, Saul Hebert, and Quinn Hebert, and great grandchildren, Andrew and Mary Ponville. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Elmo Joseph Hebert, and her parents, John David Cook Sr. and Lila Castleman Cook. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a registered nurse. She was a graduate of Hotel Dieu of New Orleans, LA. She worked many years as a public health nurse for Terrebonne Parish. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of The Homestead on Cottage Drive and Lafourche Home for the Aged. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to a charity of choice.
