Tillman Chauvin

Tillman “T-Man” Andrew Chauvin, 90, died Monday, September 21, 2015 at 3:30AM. He was a native of Houma and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 10:00AM until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:0PM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with burial in St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Shirley Dill Chauvin, son, Kerry & wife Debra Chauvin of Houma, daughters,Pamela & husband Woody Louviere of Houma and Deborah & husband Baylis Bergeron of Houma, and grandchildren, Buster & Bridgette Bergeron, Wendy Dufresne, Mark Louviere, Tanya Bourgoyne, and Teri Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldrick & Agnes Engeron Chauvin, brothers, Elmer, Norris and Calvin Chauvin, sisters, Lois Stevens, Aline LeBoeuf, Lottie Foret, Irene Foret, Mevley Hinton and Rita Billiu. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mr. Chauvin was a member of the V.F.W and American Legion. He was a WWII Marine Vet and recipient of the Purple Heart In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to American Cancer Society.
