Elvia Mary Fonseca Landry, 64, a native of Stoke-on-Trent, England, and resident of Houma, was swept away by the angels at 11:35 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m Thursday at the funeral home, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Gilbert Anthony Landry; eight children, Bambi LeBoeuf, Sarah LeBoeuf, Sheila Boudreaux and husband, Bryan, Richard Fonseca and wife, Dorall, Mary “Lou Lou” LaCoste, Jason Muntz and wife, Charlotte, Christopher Landry and wife, Jessica and Jessica Chatagnier; daughter-in-law, Natasha Krumbeck; son-in-law, Billy Stewart; grandchildren, Randi LeBoeuf, Molly Griffin and fiancé, Leonard Labit, Emily Griffin, Jake, Travis and Trent LeBoeuf, Matthew, Timothy and Amanda Boudreaux, Renee and Ryan Cunningham, Layla Fonseca, Cody, Billy and Eric LaCoste, Erica and Jamie Cantrelle, Nicholas Chimento, Nathan and Christian Muntz, Nicholas, Noah, Blake and soon to be, Aiden Landry, and Julie and John Chatagnier; great-grandchildren, Erin, Eriss and Evan LeBoeuf, Kiara Cunningham, Aaliyah and Makaila Jones, Zoe and Kristie Labit; brothers, David Fonseca and wife, Dina, Philip Fonseca and Peter Fonseca and wife, Donna; her beloved feline, Rosie; one sister, Wendy Fonseca; and sister-in-law, Vivian Fonseca.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sergen Joseph Fonseca and Elvia Robotham Fonseca; son-in-law, Chris Griffin; three infant daughters; and one brother, Mark Fonseca.
