Leona Elizabeth Helluin, 78, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 07:32 AM. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, Son: Patrick James Helluin and wife Angela, Daughters: Elizabeth Helluin Amos and husband David, and Camille Helluin Duplantis and husband Troy,and Grandchildren: Kayla, Clay, Jeffrey and girlfriend Rose, and Tarissa, She is also survived her sister-in-law Frankie Simpson, nephew Jamie Simpson, brother-in-law F. Jerome Helluin and wife Maude, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her, Spouse: Warren James Helluin, Parents: Joe Hall Simpson and Mildred Gillespie Simpson, Brother: Joseph George Simpson, She was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. She was a retired RN who worked at Terrebonne General Medical Center. She was a kind, caring, and giving person with a wonderful spirit and huge heart.
