George Herpin

George Morris Herpin, 76, died Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 06:30 AM. He was a native of Crowley and longtime resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 8:00 AM untill service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, daughter, Shelly Herpin. He was preceded in death by his, Wife of 49 years, Marjorie Ann Marmande Herpin; son, Gregory Herpin; parents, Theodore and Alice Herpin; and brother, Rene Herpin. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. He was retired from Dolphin Service after 20 years. He an avid LSU football fan. He also enjoyed volunteering as a coach and driver for Terrebonne Parish Special Olympics for 25 years. A special thanks to Camelot of Broussard's caring and compassionate staff during his short residency at their facility.
