Jacob “Mr. Jake” Astor Roddie

Jacob “Mr. Jake” Astor Roddie, 94, a native of Bush and resident of New Orleans, died at 2:32 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2008.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by one sister, Myr-tle Desmares of Houma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Roddie and Esther Coward Roddie; two brothers, Paul Roddie and Wilbur Roddie; and three sisters, Togo Thomas, Ruth Breland and Doris Roddie.
He was a retired painter.
