Theresa Mary Berel Green

Theresa Mary Berel Green, 80, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died at 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 2008. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. She is survived by two sons, Lee Alexander Green Jr. and James Alexander Green of Houma; one daughter, Beverly Ann Green Williams of Slidell; two brothers, Romy Berel of Covington and Paul Berel of Kenner; eight grandchildren, Casey Lin Williams Ray, Anthony Claude Williams, Rachel Annette Williams, Heidi Green Bellanger, Valerie Ann Green, Lee Alexander Green III, Richard Alexander Lee Green and Emily Rose Green; and six great-grandchildren, Walker Tyler Ray, Brett Houston Ray, Madison Paige Williams, Olivia Grace Williams, Cayden Emile Bellanger and Sage James Bellanger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Alexander Green Sr.; her parents, Romy Berel Sr. and Bernadette Mary Bourgeois Berel; one grandchild, Anyssa Alexis Thomas; four brothers, Harold, John, Joseph and Gerald Berel; and one sister, Catherine Berel Bitterwolf. She was owner of Theresa’s Ceramics and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
