Jeanne Adelle Marcel Daigle

Jeanne Adelle Marcel Daigle, 82, a native and resident of Houma, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2008. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by three sons, Mike Daigle, Robert Daigle Jr. and wife, Susan, and Berry Daigle and wife, Mesty, of Houma; one daughter, Jan Hunter and husband, Tom, of Mandeville; six brothers and sisters; seven grandchildren, Brian Daigle, Angie Daigle Vowell, Chad and Brad Daigle, Brittany Daigle, and Andree and Julia Hunter; and five great-grandchildren, Jackie and Jacob Daigle, Colin, Ethan and Jolie Vowell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph Daigle Sr.; her parents, Wilson Marcel and Adelle Bernard Marcel; and two brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church
